Learn more about this module: The Nevada Secretary of State is charged with the responsibility of appointing notaries by the provisions of Chapter 240 of the Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS). At this time, there are more than 25,000 notaries public actively serving the people of Nevada. Notaries provide services ranging from taking acknowledgments, executing jurats, and administering oaths to certifying copies. They serve in law firms, title companies, banks, government offices, and many other private businesses.This module allows the clerk’s office to manage the status of all public notaries
